Funeral Services for Sam Antonopoulos age 82 who passed away on June 16 2007 will be Tuesday June 19 2007 at 1:30 pm at St. Demetrius Greek Orthodox Church. Family will receive friends on Monday June 18 2007 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Lohman Daytona Funeral Home. Sam was born on April 19 1925 in Gary Indiana and moved to New York at a young age where he attended school.

He served in the Pacific with the Marines and was a foreman for Gries Reproduction Company for 20 years. Sam married his beloved Hope on June 19 1949 and has two sons George of Daytona Beach and William of South Daytona.

Sam and Hope have enjoyed the area since 1973.

He loved gardening watching sports on television especially New York teams and he also loved animals.

Also surviving are his brother Cristus and sister-in-law Persefoni cousin Helen Antony and many nieces and nephews.
