Obituary

Sally Brunner 85 of Port Orange passed away on May 11 2009 after a long illness. Services will be held June 17th at 10:00am at Epiphany Catholic Church 201 Lafayette Street Port Orange. Sally was born in Belgrade Yugoslavia on May 27 1923 to Sava and Smilja Gvozdjar. At age three she and her parents immigrated to the United States and settled in Akron OH. In her early twenties she relocated to Cleveland OH where she began working as a clothing designer. After she married she was a stay-at-home Mom who very much enjoyed her home life with her family. After raising the children she relocated to the Daytona Beach area. She became a member of the Epiphany Catholic Church in Port Orange and has been living in the area for 25 years. In her spare time she could be found sewing cooking or entertaining. Sally will best be remembered for her outgoing friendly personality. She is survived by her husband Joe of 61 years; son Paul Jr. (Renee) of Port Orange; daughters Connie (Richard) Danch of Chardon Ohio Natalie Brunner of Wilbur by the Sea Debra Brunner of Port Orange Samia (Ron) Sapatka of Euclid Ohio; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her name to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange FL 32129
