Sadie Lander age 99 of Port Orange Fl was born into eternal life on Thursday May 11 2005 at the Hospice Center of Volusia Flagler in Port Orange. Memorial Services will be held on Monday May 16 2005 at 2:00 PM at the New Smyrna Beach Bible Chapel with J. Philip Morgan officiating. There will be a private interment for family on Monday May 16 2005 at Daytona Memorial Park.
Sadie was born into this life on December 4 1905 to William and Ellen McIntosh in Londonderry Northern Ireland. She moved to this area in 1965 from Detroit MI. She attended the New Smyrna Beach Bible Chapel and was in charge for many years of the work projects for the ladies missionary group. Sadie was a Pink Lady for the Women?s Auxiliary of Bert Fish Medical Center in New Smyrna Beach Fl. Sadie was best known for her Hospitality.
She is preceded in death by husband Tom Lander in 1977.
Left to cherish her memories are son Ron Lander New Smyrna Beach Fl; Brother Joseph McIntosh and Sisters Ella Thompson Winnie Galway and Ruth Walker all of Bangor Ireland; Grandchildren Ellen Benz Susan Spacek and Sharon Altes and 12 Great-Grandchildren.
