Ruth M. Watkins 77 of Palm Coast FL passed away April 24th at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice Palm Coast FL. A memorial gathering will be held Friday May 6th beginning at 2 pm at the Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Pkwy SW Palm Coast FL. A service will immediately follow at Daytona Memorial Park 1425 Bellevue Avenue Daytona Beach FL. Ruth was born and raised in Danville VA and married Robert Burnett Jr. They had two children and lived in Miami FL. After Robert's death in 1974 Ruth moved back to VA to be with her family. Ruth was reintroduced to family friend Albert Watkins who later became her second husband. After his passing Ruth returned to FL to be near her daughter and son-in-law. She enjoyed gardening canning vegetables and fruits playing cards and solving jigsaw and word puzzles. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Robert Burnett Jr. her second husband Albert Watkins son Steven Burnett and siblings Eugene and Leonard Reynolds Irene Sheldon Frances Burnett and Daisy Grubbs. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sharon & David Kalmbach brother and sister-in-law Eddie & MaryJo Reynolds sister and brother-in-law Shirley & Sydney Ball sister and brother-in-law Mary & Otto Haltiwanger granddaughter and grandson-in-law Elizabeth & Ronald Fint and two great grandchildren Tia and Peyton.
