Ruth E. Storch 78 a resident of Daytona Beach passed away on January 31 2013 with her family at her side.

A viewing will be held on Monday February 4 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 201 University Blvd Daytona Beach FL 32118 between the hours of 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. A Vigil Service will begin at 6:00 P.M.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes on Tuesday February 5 2013 at 1:00 P.M burial will immediately follow at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery.

Ruth was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to George and Ruth Ann (Lewis) Martin on December 15 1934.
Before moving to Daytona Beach in 1966 she lived in Hawaii with her family while her husband was stationed there during his time in the Navy. Ruth and her husband Ron were the owners and editors of the Penny Saver newspaper before it became the East Volusia Shopper. She was a devoted wife and loving mother raising seven children.

She is survived by her children Stephen K. Storch Frederick C. (Heather) Storch Deborah L. (Mark) Morris Barbara A. (Gale) Weaver Suzanne (Jeff) Heim Laura M. (George Dounhoo) Kuftic and Gregory M. (Samantha) Storch; sisters Peggy Catherine Carol Joanne Helen; twenty grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; companion Ralph Groot; sister and brother in law Linda and Walter Gatton and cat Nemo.

She was preceded in death by her parents George & Ruth Ann Martin sister Maryetta and her beloved husband of 52 years Ron C. Storch.
