Ruth S. Marriott beloved mother of Judge Frank Marriott died on Friday June 22 2007 surrounded by her loving family at the Florida Hospital Oceanside Hospice. A memorial Service will be held at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond on Thursday June 28th at 6:30pm. Her family will receive friends from 5-6:30pm preceding the service. Mrs. Marriott was born November 11 1917 in New York NY and moved to Daytona Beach from West Caldwell NJ in 1977. She was kind compassionate and loving person adored by her family and friends. Ruth was an accomplished artist. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Marriott Sr. in 1976 and is survived by her son Frank and his wife Cindy two granddaughters Katherine Marriott and Lindsay Sellers two great grandchildren Logan and Kylie. Survivors also include her sisters Ruby Rossman and Marion Sahlman. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Ruth's memory to the Shriners Hospital for Children 12502 Pine Dr. Tampa FL 33612.
