Ruth E. LaVere 84 of Port Orange went to be with the Lord on Monday April 4th 2011.
A visitation will be held on Thursday April 7th 2011 in the Chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona between the hours of 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday April 8th 2011 at12 Noon in the chapel at Lohman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery.

Ruth was born in Watertown New York on December 16th 1926 to Claude and Margaret Munson. Ruth married the love of her life Paul LaVere in 1947 and they had three daughters. In 1961 they moved to Florida. Ruth worked for many years in the automotive industry before retiring. She was a Member of the Sand Spur Riding Club winning many trophies and ribbons in competitive horseback riding. She enjoyed dancing playing cards riding horses fishing and her pets. Most of all she enjoyed being a devoted wife mother grandmother great grandmother and friend.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband Paul LaVere daughters Melody (Randy) Harper Karen (Paul) Riley Teresa (Mark) Williams grandchildren Michelle Kristy Shanda Kaytee and great grandchildren Emilee Madison Ethan Morgan and one due in October brother Jack (Martha) Munson and many extended family members and a multitude of friends.
