Ruth Marga Heininge, 92, of Daytona Beach Shores, Florida passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023.  She was born on August 8, 1931 in Berlin, Germany.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Annette Remark; son, Gerhard Heininge (wife, Amanda Moroney); daughter, Bettina Gerner; daughter, Christine Cross; son, Jimmy Heininge; daughter, Cindy Barnes (husband, Bill Barnes); grandchildren, Andrea, Stephanie, Lantz (wife, Ashley), Christopher, Samantha, Kelly (husband, Scott), and Billy; great grandchildren, Alayna, Willow, Natalie, Jaylin, Kendall, Kinsleigh, Thomas, Jackson, Khloe, Millie, Kaylee, Bentley, and Kennedy; her precious "babylein" Ophelia and other extended family and friends.  She is preceded in death by her husband, SGM James P. Heininge and granddaughter, Marion.

There will be a viewing on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 4pm-7pm at Lohman Port Orange Funeral Home located at 1201 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange, Florida 32127.  There will be Celebration of Ruth's Life on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 4pm-8pm with speaking beginning at 4:30pm at the Community Clubhouse located at 3425 South Atlantic Avenue, Daytona Beach Shores 32118. Casual attire is appropriate; it is also requested to wear something purple in Ruth's honor.  Additional parking is available across the street at CVS.  Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
