Ruth L. Goch, 86 of Ormond Beach, passed away on July 3, 2014 at her home. Funeral services will be celebrated on Thursday, July 10th at 11:00 a.m., the family will receive friends one hours prior to services at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach.

Ruth was born August 4, 1927 in Princeton, New Jersey to Charles and Florence Shangle. She married the love of her life, Michael Goch, on June 26, 1948 in Jersey City, NJ. Ruth was a homemaker, and a devoted wife and mother. Together Ruth and Michael relocated from Toms River, NJ to Ormond Beach 29yrs. ago. She was a parishioner at St. Alexis Orthodox Church, and enjoyed taking cruises. Her favorite pastime was time with her family.

Ruth is survived by two sons, Michael (Tricia) Goch of Woodland Hills, California, and Greg (Tammy) of Ormond Beach, as well as her grandson, Jason Wagner of Woodland Hills, CA. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 66 years, Michael Goch on January 7, 2014.
