Ruth M. Dufner, 73, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Advent Health - Daytona Beach.

Born in Yonkers, New York on October 13, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Caroline Otis Cobb and William Gilbert Merritt. Her husband, Robert Dufner, preceded her in death.

Some of Ruth's favorite memories she always talked about was her great love for horses and traveling with her parents. Since relocating to DeLand, Ruth has enjoyed her church activities, especially singing in the church choir. Ruth also enjoyed embroidery, reading, line dancing, and visiting with her friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Eastside Baptist Church, located at 700 South Massachusetts Avenue, DeLand, Florida.
