Funeral Service for Ruth Vernice Hodge Couch of Ormond Beach age 93 will be held on Thursday July 6th at 11:00 AM with Donald & Bruce Shockley officiating. Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Wednesday July 5th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona; 1423 Bellevue Avenue Daytona Beach FL.

Mrs. Couch died Saturday July 1 2006. Ruth was born on April 22 1913 in Puxico MO. to John and Elizabeth Hodge. She was married on December 5 1931 to the Late Roscoe Couch for 63 years. Ruth was a Hotel inspector with the Holiday Inns assisting her husband. She moved to Ormond Beach in 1960 from St. Louis MO. Mrs. Couch and her husband were Charter members of North Peninsula Baptist Church. She worked in Volusia School system for Approximately 15 years.

She is survived by two daughters; Shirley Shockley and Sandra Radford 13 grandchildren; Barbara Karen Bruce Drew Debra Ray Susan Robert Paul Jerry Pamela Mitchell Russell 21 great- grandchildren Sean Matthew Nathan Steven Rebecca Troy Eric Cori Amber Courtney Shelby Bobbi Ann Chelsey Jacob Kyle Adam Kala Kuri Brittney Hailey Ashley.
