Ruth Brasol affectionately known as Ruthie passed away peacefully on June 10 2013 at 91 years old. She was born in Sioux Falls Idaho. She was happily married to Basil Brasol Sr. for 14 years. They loved dancing at the Ormond Senior Center and going to yard sales. She lovingly cared for him in his last days until she was predeceased by him in 2010. She is survived by: her daughters Sharon Johnson of Massachusetts; Lillian Banfill of Idaho; her Florida family Nita Basil Junior Sandy Tina Patty Chrissy and many grandchildren. Special Thanks and love to Basil Jr for honoring his father's wishes in taking exceptional care of Ruthie. Also thanks to Brenda and Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia Flagler for caring for her in her last days. Ruthie loved flower gardening and giving to charities. Ruthie would love to be remembered for her love of Jesus and reading the Bible. A private family service was previously held.
