Ruth W. Blum, 79, of Palm Coast passed away January 22, 2016. Ruth was born March 13, 1936 in New York City. She married Charles F. Blum, Jr, her husband of 61 years. Together they traveled worldwide and lived in six different countries.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Charles; by her children: Julie Eichhorst, David Blum (Linda), and Carolyn Matern (Robert); by her grandchildren: Ben, Daniel (Maria), Matthew (Holly), and Rachel Eichhorst, Christopher and Adam McCallum; by her great-grandchildren: Sydney McCallum and Thomas Eichhorst; by her brother, Jerry Wellen (Nancy); and by many other family and friends.

A Memorial Service in Ruth's honor will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11am at Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran Church, 101 Pine Lakes Path, Palm Coast, FL 32164. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 2151, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38101-2151.
