Mrs. Ruth Archer beloved mother grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on May 19 2012 at Sunrise Assisted Living Springfield VA. at age 91. A graveside service in her honor will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday May 26 2012 at Lake Helen/Cassadaga Florida Cemetery.

She was born in Bristol PA lived in NJ and Florida with her husband Richard and spent the last eleven years in Virginia. She was retired from Stetson University in Deland Florida. In her early years she was a majorette and a championship marble player and later an excellent golfer and dancer. She enjoyed animals of all sizes and especially loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all those fortunate enough to have known her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Archer sisters Anne and Lavinia and brothers Arthur Edward and Jack. She is survived by her son Jeff and wife Julie her grandson Jonathan and wife Briean her great-granddaughter Aubrey and multiple nieces and nephews.
