Russell Lloyd Franks 54 of Ormond Beach peacefully passed away Monday July 2 2012 at home surrounded by his loved ones. A Celebration of his Life will be held Sunday July 8 2012 at Riverfront Center at St. Demetrios 129 North Halifax Avenue Daytona Beach FL 32118. Family welcomes friends at 3:00pm with Memorial Service starting at 3:30pm.

Russ was born and raised in Ohio. He moved to the Daytona area when he was 25. Russ was a true entrepreneur. With his partner in 1982 he founded and was owner and operator of Sunbelt Chemicals Corporation in Palm Coast.

Russ was passionate about golfing. He found particular comfort and relaxation sitting and viewing the Halifax River from his home. He also loved to travel. Russ will be remembered for having a great sense of humor.

Russ will be sadly missed by his daughter Brittany Franks of Fort Lauderdale and by his girlfriend Debbie Inskip of Ormond Beach. He will be mourned by many friends. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org/. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond.
