Runelle S. Gatanis 77 of Ormond Beach passed away on August 27 2010. A visitation will be held on Thursday September 2 2010 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd from 3pm until 5pm. Funeral Service will begin at 5pm with Pastor Jason Karr officiating. Burial will take place on Friday September 3 2010 at Florida National Cemetery at 11:30am.
Runelle was born in Savanah Gegoira on August 23 1933 to the late Albert and Clara (Duncan) Stregles. Runelle enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She had a zest for life which touched many and brought smiles to all. Runelle loved her family fiercely as they did her and will continue to forever.
She will be greatly missed by her beloved children Steve (Karen) Gatanis Mark (Callie) Gatanis Teddy (Cathy) Gatanis brothers Tom Stregles Lamar (Laurie) Stregles and Fred (Joyce) Stregles. She also leaves behind six grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.
We all are feeling much sadness that she is gone and must keep her memory alive in our hearts.
