Funeral Service for Rufus ?Duke? Steward Jr. 76 who passed away July 7 2004 at his residence in Espanola FL will be held on Saturday July 17 2004 in the chapel of Lohman Palm Coast Funeral Home at 1:00 pm.

Mr. Steward was born in Georgia October 6 1927 and was a lifelong resident of Espanola.

He served in the US Army.

He is survived by Christine his wife of 57 years of Espanola; three sons Carlton Gail Steward of Daytona Beach; Garry Christine Steward of Minneapolis Minnesota; and Rufus Smith of Ormond Beach; his daughters Gwendolyn Steward of Espanola Wilhemenia ?Meme? Chet Turner of Espanola; his brother Leon Addie Mae Steward of Daytona Beach; sisters Cora Lee Roosevelt Jones of Bunnell and Menora Steward of Espanola; 16 grandchildren four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
