Private funeral services for Roy F. Schneider age 86 of Port Orange who went home to be with the lord on Tuesday February 8 2005 at Halifax Medical Center will be on Saturday February 12 2005 at the Daytona Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bob Elzey officiating. A Private interment will be held on Monday. Family does invite all friends to a Memorial Service on Sunday February 13 2005 at CountrySide Lakes 941 Village Trail at 11:00 in the chapel.

Roy was born March 14 1918 to Earl and Anna Schneider in Dundas WI. Roy moved to this area in 1983 from Wisconsin. He belonged to the Gideons International. Roy worked for General Electric for 42years. Roy had an knack for fixing different things. He liked to fish and golf. Most ultimately he will be missed for who he was.

Roy is preceded in death by his Sister and an infant grandson.

His survivors include his wife of 64years Ellen Schneider Port Orange; Son Robert Schneider Sue Mequon WI; Daughter Kathryn Tyrrell Tom Fort Walton Beach; Brother Sherman Schneider Waupaca WI; Grandchildren Randy David and Rebecca Schneider; and 3 great-grandchildren;
