A Graveside Service for Roy L. Bullock 84 of Port Orange FL who passed away on October 3 2007 with his family at his side will be held at 2 pm Friday October 5 2007 at Daytona Memorial Park. Roy was born on July 6 1923 to the late Easton and Rosa Bullock in Gilmer Texas. He enlisted in the U.S. Military and served his country honorably during WWII in the Army and National Guard. Roy later retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army after 22 years of faithful service. After his military career Roy worked for NASA in Washington D.C. as Director of Office Supply/Equipment Manager where he worked until his retirement in 1986. Upon moving to this area Roy became an active member of Port Orange Presbyterian Church where he also served as an Elder. Roy leaves to cherish his memory his daughters Karen Isman of London England and Debra Bullock of Seattle Washington; son Steven Bullock; brother Dean (Lucille) Bullock of Texas; and stepsons Bill Greer Kenneth Greer Steven Greer Gary Greer and Mike Jacobs. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Evelyn. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in honor of Roy to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange FL 32129.
