A Celebration of Life for Rowland W. Halliday Age 73 of Deland died on Tuesday August 22 2006 at Florida Hospital Ormond Memorial will be held on Friday August 25 2006 10:00am at the Cloister 400 East Howry Avenue in Deland. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Rowland was born on May 28 1933 in NY NY to the late William and Dorothy Halliday. He moved to this area in 1960 from NY. Mr. Halliday spent Four years in the Air force serving in Korea as an Aircraft Mechanic He graduated from Rowland University with a Masters Degree in Orlando. He retired in 1972 as a Lieutenant for the Daytona Police Department after 12 years. Mr. Halliday was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and Past President lodger 22. Mr. Halliday was a Marshall for the fifth district Court of appeals Retiring in 1995. Rowland Coached Little league Baseball and Midget Football.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years Patricia Two Son; William Corrine Holliday of Fairfield CT James Halliday of Binghamton NY One Daughter; Melinda Wheeler of Houston TX. Also survived by Six Grandchildren.
