A Funeral Service will be held for Rose C. Varriale-Thomas of Ormond Beach on Thursday August 10 2006 in Long Island NY.
She passed away in her home on Sunday August 6 2006 with her family at her side knowing she was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by them. Sadly her brother Ralph Varriale passed away also the same day. Rose was born in Brooklyn NY to Ralph and France Tieri Varriale. She will be remembered for her kindness and love that went beyond her family. She loved to gamble on the casino boats with her sisters and was a good bowler. She loved animals especially her cat ?Brandy? and a dog ?Francois.? Rose will be remembered as a great sister sister-in-law and especially a great daughter to her parents who she cared for in their later years. On October 22 1984 she married Robert Thomas and spent a year and a half loving him until his passing on March 22 1986. She moved to the Daytona area in 1989 from Brooklyn NY. She was a Catholic and belonged to the Prince of Peace Church. Rose is survived by 2 brothers; Anthony Madeline Varriale of Queens NY and Richard Sharon Varriale of Mattawan NJ. 3 sisters; Lydia Charles Romano of Ormond Beach FL Emilia Braunig and Carol Varriale both of Ormond Beach. There are also many loving nieces and nephews to cherish her memory. Also left to cherish her memory is a very special friend Lucia Sutera of Brooklyn NY.
