A Mass of Christian burial for Rose S. Solarino 83 of Ormond Beach FL who passed away Tuesday August 21 2007 will be held Monday August 27 2007 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Ormond Beach at 9:00 AM with Rev. Tim Daly officiating. Her family is inviting friends to attend visitation at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond Beach on Sunday from 1 PM until 3 PM.

She is survived by 3 sons Alan and his wife Kathy Solarino Park Ridge NJ Vincent and his wife Carol Solarino Port Monmouth NJ Thomas and his wife Cindy Solarino Dover DE a daughter Jan Solarino Nestle and her husband Jim Smyrna GA 3 sisters Pam Josephine both of New Jersey and Mary of Florida 12 Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Rose was born June 29 1924 in Garfield NJ. She married Vincent Solarino August 19 1945. Mr. Solarino predeceased her in 2000. Her family would like to thank every one from Aberdeen for their love and support. Rose worked as an Executive Secretary for a period and then as a beautician. She was co-owner with her husband of Henderson Deli in Fairlawn NJ. The couple came to Florida in 1972. She enjoyed dancing singing and playing cards. Rose was active in her community and Red Hat Society at Aberdeen. She was very proud of her awards earned at the Senior Games. Memorial donations can be made in her name to Prince of Peace Church.
