Rosalia Anania age 101 Daytona Beach entered into eternal rest in her daughters W. Palm Beach home on Tuesday September 29 2009. A 9:00 a.m. viewing and 10:00 a.m. funeral service in her honor will be held Friday October 2 2009; at the Daytona Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home Fr. Philip Egitto will be officiating. An Entombment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park. Rosalia was the first born of seven children to: Nichol and Grazia Maltese in Province of Palermo Italy. She dedicated her life as a wife mother and grandmother. She was a proud member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and resident of Daytona Beach for more than 50 years. Rosalia was an avid bridge player past member of the Peabody Shuffleboard Club and Arthur Murray Dance Studio. She loved sewing and sewed until she was over 100 years old and will best be remembered for starting a family tradition of making world class ravioli. Her parents siblings and beloved husband Agostino Anania and second husband Alex Pelletier preceded her in death. She leaves behind to cherish her memory five children: Joseph (Kathy) Anania Ormond Beach FL Rosalia (Joseph) Vitale Daytona Beach FL Grace Webbe St. Louis MO Nicolena Hyatt West Palm Beach FL and Flora (Mickey) Licavoli St. Louis MO; 22 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. She is loved and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona Beach.
