Ronnie Odell Hill 68 of South Daytona passed away on January 13 2012. A visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Monday January 16 2012 in the Chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday January 17 2012 in the Chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. Entombment will follow in Daytona Memorial Park 1425 Bellevue Avenue Daytona Beach.
Ronnie Hill was born on May 16 1943 in Carroll County VA to Archie and Eula Hill. He was raised in Greensboro NC and originally moved to this area in 1979.
He retired after 20 years in the insurance industry and then retired as an entrepreneur in real estate.
He was a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge in Greensboro NC and in Daytona Beach since 1972. He was also a member of the MOB (Moose on Bikes) the Fraternal Order of the Eagles (Daytona Beach Shores) and the Elks Lodge in Ormond Beach.
He loved NASCAR and motorcycles.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 42 years Judith in September 2004.
He is survived by his two daughters Dianne (Jim) Tuholski of Port Orange FL and Kimberly (Don) Maness of Liberty NC; brother Maynard (Patricia) Hill of Greensboro NC; Seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
