Ronald Clark Ragan Sr. passed away at home with his children by his side on May 3,2015 in Port Orange Fl. He was born on May 11, 1944, in Daytona Beach Fl. A Funeral Service in his honor will be held at, 11 am, Monday, May 11, 2015 at the Lohman Funeral Home Daytona Chapel. A Gathering of Friends and family will be at 10 am until 11am.
Ronald worked for Bell south as an electronics technician in Daytona Beach, until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of CWA 3102 and a past member in a local orchid society. Ron's hobbies and interests were orchids, gardening, and gathering with friends for a glass of wine. He was a graduate of Mainland High School, class of 1963 and Daytona Beach Junior College (Daytona State) in 1965.
Ron was preceded in death by his loving wife of 15 years, Linda Carol Yardley Ragan. He is survived by his two children; son, Ronald C. Ragan II, Port Orange, FL., and daughter Jennifer Ann Ragan Tharp, Marietta, Ga., grandchildren; Casey Tharp, Ashley Tharp, and Zachary Tharp, all of Marietta Ga., and a brother, James Ragan of Brunswick, Ga. Also left to cherish his memory are Kathleen Ragan and daughter, Melissa, and many other loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Memorial donations may be made to Halifax Hospice or the American Cancer Society in the name of Ronald Clark Ragan, Sr.
