Ronald L Maxon, Sr. ,78, of Ormond Beach, passed away Sunday August 25, 2019 . He was born in Kansas City, MO on February 2, 1941 the son of Thomas Leroy, Sr. and Leona Eva (Schmalz) Maxon. He proudly served as a US Marine Reservist for 8 years and then HE WORKED AT Maxon Transfer and Delivery, the family business, which was founded in1937. Mr. Maxon was a member of the Community of Christ Church (RLDS). He was an antique car buff, restoring vintage Model A cars. He was a Ford Man till the end.

He was predeceased by his father, Thomas Leroy Maxon, Sr. and his grand daughter Sandra and is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joyce E. (Todd) Maxon, his mother, Leona Eva (Schmalz) Maxon, his daughter, Sharyl L Jackson (Mark), his two son's, Ronald L Maxon Jr. (Regan) and ChristopherV. Maxon (Brandy), his grandchildren; Brandon, Bailey, Bradley, Brenna, Ashley, Jacqueline, Noah, Jillian, Hunter, Hollie, Alexandria and Aubrey. He also is survived by 13 great grandchildren and two brother's, Kevin T and Timothy J Maxon.

The family will receive friends 12 Noon till 2:00 PM, Thursday August 29, 2019 at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona, 1423 Bellevue Ave. Daytona Beach. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM in the Chapel. Burial will follow in Daytona Memorial Park.
