Mr. Kidwell was the manager of the Walden Bookstore in the Volusia Mall and the former owner of Halifax Aquarium and Pet Supplies Inc. He moved here in 1957 from Springfield Ohio graduating from Seabreeze High School and attending the Daytona Beach Junior College. He belonged to the Halifax Model Railroad Club and his hobbies included gardening and computers.

Survivors include a brother Jack Kidwell of Lake Okeechobee FL; a lifetime friend R. Franklin Muffley of Ormond Beach FL; a nice and five nephews.
