Ronald James Kramer passed away on November 13 2007. Ron was born in Rock Island Illinois and spent his childhood in Davenport Iowa. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 28 years completing his service at the rank of Senior Master Sergeant.
He served as an air traffic controller at stations in Bermuda Mississippi Alaska Germany and New York State. He retired to Daytona Beach from the Air Force in 1982. He enjoyed his retirement with a fishing pole close at hand and a motorhome with which he and Pat traveled the United States. Ron especially loved Alaska.
He is survived by his wife Patricia; daughters and sons in law Patrona and Kenneth Stanley; and Ronda and Benjamin Steele. Grandchildren 2nd Lt. Kevin Vernon Stanley USAF his wife 2nd Lt Molly Stanley USAF; Shannon Laegh Stanley; Nathan Kramer Steele; Andrew Lee Steele and Great Grandchild Connor Ronald Stanley. Sister Connie Lunde and husband Ray. Brothers Bob Paper and Doug Gingerich.
Ron and Pat are members of the Beville Road Church of Christ where Ron served several years as a Deacon.
A memorial service will be held at Baggett & Summers Funeral Home at 2 PM Saturday November 17 2007. Interment will be at Bushnell National Cemetery .
