Ronald (Ron) C. Hoser
Ronald "Big R" Hoser, 86, passed peacefully on October 26, 2017 in Daytona Beach.
Born in 1931 in Belford, New Jersey to the late Clarence and Anna Mann Hoser, Ron
served as a Corporal in the United States Army for four years, including Military action
in North Korea. Ron was the proud owner of "Big R" Trucking for many years, and a
long time member of the Raritan River Boat Club in Edison, New Jersey. Ron enjoyed
boating
and traveling cross country in his RV, sometimes with his friends to Super Bowls games.
Ron is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Corby and their blended family, daughters
Laurette (Kevin) Proper, Ginger (Carmine) Pugliese, Debbie (Bob) Erikson and sons
Kevin (Pixie) Hoser and Donald (Linda) Corby, Grandchildren Bella (Jennifer), Donny,
Bobby, Brent, Kevin, Roger Stephanie and Terrianne, and great grandchildren Carter,
Christopher, Elijah, and Parker. Ron is survived by his sister Martha Savoia of
Hackensack, New Jersey, nephew Michael (Rosemarie) Savoia of North Carolina and
Susan Cooper of New Jersey and their children.
Memorial Service will be at 1:00 PM November 3, 2017 at the Lohman Funeral Home
1201 Dunlawton Ave. Port Orange. Donations may be made to Wounded Warrior
