Ronald Stephen David, 78, passed away on July 30, 2025 in DeLand, Florida. Ron was born on March 13, 1947 in Jamaica (Long Island), New York to Steve and Bella (Tetrault) David.

Ron was an entrepreneur, able to see opportunities, and solve problems… which he always did with a kind and soft heart. He graduated from Mattawan High School (New Jersey) and owned a home security business with customers in Florida and New Jersey. Ron lived in Volusia County for the past 17 years, most recently DeLand.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Rose (Shahenian) David; his parents, Steve and Bella David; and his brother, Richard David.

Ron is survived by his wife, Ruth Achterhof; his daughter, Kristine (Jamie) Ferrar; his son, Keith (Karyn) David; and his grandchildren, Emily and David.
