Ronald Gordon Coolidge 78 passed away at his home June 25th 2012. He was born in Wellsboro PA on January 30th 1934. He spent his life as a master carpenter cabinet maker and fine woodworker. He enjoyed golfing gardening and fishing. Ron is survived by his wife Norma of 59 years; his brother Gareth Goodwin and niece Christine Goodwin of Wellsboro PA; his children Gordon of Ormond Beach Michael (Sara) of Ormond Beach Linda (Bruce) King of Port St. Lucie and Phillip (Scott) of Chicago IL. Also surviving are 6 beautiful granddaughters: Nancy (James) Elliott Valrico FL; Dyana (Dennis) Moro West Palm Beach FL; Melanie (Patrick) Clinton Boca Raton FL; Kayla Coolidge Altamonte Springs FL; Natalie Coolidge Ormond Beach FL; Karly Coolidge Port Orange FL; and 3 Great Granddaughters: Maya and Cameron Moro and Emma Elliott. Ron served in the Pennsylvania National Guard from 1952-1956. He was a member of the Ormond Beach Elks Lodge 2193; Ormond Beach Eagles 3800 where he served as Secretary and Trustee; and the Holly Hill American Legion Post 120. A Visitation will be held on Saturday June 30th from 4-6pm at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd Ormond Beach FL. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be sent to the Ormond Beach Elks Lodge 2193 285 Wilmette Ave. Ormond Beach FL 32174 to support their local programs.
