Obituary

Ronald "Ronnie" Bieu, 81, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025. He was born on December 10, 1943, in Manchester, Connecticut, to Edward and Elizabeth (Riker) Bieu.

After graduating from high school, Ronnie attended Manchester Technical College, where he studied mechanics and found his lifelong trade as a heavy equipment mechanic. Known for his skill and dedication, Ronnie could fix just about anything, and he took great pride in a job done right.

When he wasn't working with machinery, Ronnie poured his heart into the things he loved most, classic cars, motorcycles, and time spent with the people and pets who made his life full. He and his beloved wife, Sharon, shared countless memories together at car shows with their prized 1958 Chevy Impala, out on the open road on his motorcycle, or relaxing on the river in their boat.

Ronnie had a soft spot for animals, especially his dogs, Russell and Lil Bit, who brought him endless joy. He even showed Lil Bit professionally, a hobby that reflected his patience and care. Together, Ronnie and Sharon built a lifetime of adventure and love — traveling the world to destinations like Paris, Milan, Zurich, and Saudi Arabia.

His home will be quieter without his laughter and warmth, and the staff at Perkins and Dunkin' Donuts, where he was always greeted with a smile, will surely miss him, too.

Ronnie is survived by his loving wife, Sharon (Belanger) Bieu; his nieces, Michelle Lovett and Jennifer (Brian) Matre; his nephews, Robert (Diane) and James Lovette; his in-laws, Bob and Rose Lovett; his great-nephew, Ryan (Emily) Lovett; and his sister, Shirley Ciacci.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Elizabeth Bieu; his brother, Eddi Bieu; and his nephew, Benjamin Lovett.

Ronnie will be laid to rest at DeLand Memorial Gardens on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.

He will be remembered for his generosity, his humor, and the spark of life that made every day a little brighter.
