Mr. Bond an Army veteran in the Pacific Theater was born in Schenectady NY and moved to the area in retirement after 45 years as funeral director and President of Bond Funeral Home in Schenectady. He was a member of the South Daytona-Port Orange Kiwanis Club and active member of the United formerly Southminster Presbyterian Church Daytona Beach FL.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years Marilyn; three daughters Susan Stuart Goffstown NH; Donna Bond Daytona Beach; Carol Pahl Scotia NY and one son Rick Bond of Port Orange. Three grandchildren Melissa and Mark Stuart Goffstown NH and Matthew Bond Port Orange. Two brothers Donald E. Bond Amsterdam NY and Robert W. Bond Rotterdam NY and several nieces and nephews.
