Rolando A. Calderin II 59 of Palm Coast Florida passed away on January 23 2012 at the Florida Hospital Flagler. Visitation will be held on January 28 2012 from 1:00 pm until the Funeral Service at 3:00 pm visitation will then continue until 5:00 pm at the Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Pkwy SW Palm Coast. Rolando was born and raised in Cuba moving to NJ at age 15. He worked for NJ Bell for 14 years and then started his own company A&R Refrigeration. In 1995 Rolando moved to Palm Coast FL. In 1999 he started and became owner and operator of the Solano Air Company. Rolando was a member of the NRA and the Cabaiguan Facebook Club. He loved to sing and joke and will be remembered by his family as a perfect "Opera Singer". Rolando enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He was also a huge Beatles fan. His true happiness came in the form of his family. Rolando loved spending time with his kids and grandkids they were his pride and joy. Rolando was preceded in death by his father Rolando Calderin SR. in 1979. He is survived by his mother Concepcion Calderin of PC his beloved wife of 38 years Xiomara Calderin of PC son Rolando Calderin III of PC daughters Melissa Korkes and her husband Gregg of Jacksonville Xiomeli Cordero and her husband Michael of PC brother Adrian Calderin and his wife Nicola of PC sister Rosa Benitez and her husband Carlos of PC He was also the loving grandfather of 6 grandchildren Molly Alexa Gabriel Alexander Naomi and Rebeka; as well as many nieces and nephews.
