Roger R. Reigelsperger, 80, of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away on Tuesday May 9, 2017 in Daytona Beach, Florida. He was born on March 5, 1937 in Dayton, OH and moved to this area 25 years ago from his birthplace. A Memorial Service was held at 10:00am on Saturday May 13, 2017 in the Chapel at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona, 1423 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida. A Graveside Service will be held at 3:30 pm on Friday May 26, 2017 at Woodland Cemetery, 118 Woodland Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45409. All guests should arrive and meet at the front gates coming in on Woodland Avenue. Everyone will line up in front of the administration building so that everyone can proceed to the grave-site together. Roger served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from the City of Dayton after over 30 years of employment.
Survivors include his three children, Cindy (Andy) Boone of Beavercreek, OH, Roger (Karen) Reigelsperger of Holly Hill, FL and Doug Reigelsperger of Dayton, OH; eight grandchildren, Brad Lovell, Gretchen Boone, Kaila Boone, Kristen Hayes, Andrew Reigelsperger, Ashley Reigelsperger, Jesse Reigelsperger and Alex Reigelsperger; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Reigelsperger on November 30, 2008. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his memory to Hospice of Dayton Foundation, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420 or to AA Chapter, Easy Does it Club, PO Box 311, Ormond Beach, FL 32175-0311.
