A Gathering to celebrate the life of Rodney Boothe 57 of South Daytona who passed away too soon on Thursday May 29 2008 will be held Friday June 6 at the Port Orange Chapel of Lohman Funeral Homes. Friends are invited to meet at 5 pm and sharing of memories will begin at 6 pm. Rodney was born in Huntington West Virginia and has been a Daytona resident for 40 years where he owned his own masonry company. He enjoyed fishing spending time riding his motorcycle target shooting and was an Ecology activist helping to keep the river clean. Rodney leaves his loving daughter Helen Boothe to cherish his memory. He also leaves the mother of his daughter Dana Boothe; sisters Mary (Brett) Goodwin and Jody Black; father Charles Boothe; several nieces many dear friends and his beloved dogs Duke & Tootsie. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Rodney to the Helen Boothe Trust Fund. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.lohmanfuneralhomes.com.
