Rocco (Rocky) Pagliarulo, 91 years old from Ponce Inlet, Florida passed away on 12/18/18 surrounded by his loving family. Rocky was born February 17th, 1927 and raised in Waterbury, CT. He served in the Navy during WWII. He worked in the automotive industry in New York City, married Ellen and moved with their children to Daytona Beach, Florida in 1962. He was employed by Lloyd Buick Cadillac until his retirement. His hobbies included fishing, boating, tennis, and growing fig trees. Rocky was an avid teacher of WWII history to his grandchildren. He was a man of God and loved his church and men's group. Rocky is survived by his beloved wife Ellen of 65 years, son Rocky(Bethany) Pagliarulo, daughter Cindi(Chet)Surmaczewicz, grandsons Chris and David Pagliarulo, Matthew and Walter Surmaczewicz, sister-in-law Angela Pagliarulo, nieces Angela(Otto) Fernandez, Laura Perez, great nephew Daniel Fernandez, great niece Ashley(Jason) Kolb multiple cousins in Bari, Italy. There will be a funeral Mass at The Church Of The Epiphany, Port Orange, Florida on Saturday, December 29th at 10 am.
