Robin Cannon Candeto (b. 1957 in Tallahassee FL) died on Tuesday May 31 2011 in her Maitland home of a rare untreatable brain disease. She is survived by her parents Robert and Sherry Cannon of Tallahassee FL her sister Angela Cannon Hirte of Kansas City MO her four children Caroline Candeto Newkirk John Cannon Candeto Steven Lewis Candeto II and Sarah Lucille Candeto and granddaughter Lydia Newkirk. Robin was a beloved early childhood administrator at The Geneva School whose faith in Christ and gentle wisdom inspired many. She was a loving mother grandmother daughter sister and friend whose generous hospitality and selflessness will be remembered well by those who knew her. A memorial service will be held Saturday June 4 2011 at 2:00 PM at St. Andrews Church (5525 Wayside Drive Sanford FL). Interment will precede the service at Deland Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers it was Robin's request that donations be made to the Early Childhood Campus of The Geneva School (2025 S.R 436 Winter Park FL 32792).
