Heaven has gained another angel!

Roberto Maldonado Serrano, age 78, moved onto paradise on November 1st, 2022. Taking his last breath while holding the hands of his loved ones and listening to "Trío los Condes". Roberto passed from complications of Kidney Disease.

Roberto was born on September 17, 1944 in Utuado, Puerto Rico to Lorenzo (farmer) & Cruz María (housewife) Maldonado. Roberto was 1 of 14 children, they were all loved with his whole heart. He treated his nieces and nephews as if they were his own children. His passion was gardening, especially his fruits and vegetables, even though he did not want to follow in his father's footsteps of being a farmer.

Roberto enjoyed working with family & friends, hard labor came easy to him. There came a time where he wanted to slow down the pace and he became a Bus Operator for Newark Airport. Unfortunately, due to a medical emergency, he had to part ways. Taking a very small break to rest, he decided to look for something a little less stressful, so in 2005 he started with the MUJC, as a School Bus Driver, working with his daughter Jeniffer. He made many more friends and family. There was never a day that would go by that he did not make everyone laugh or show how much he cared. He loved everyone he ever transported. Once retirement came, Deltona in Florida became his home.

He is survived by his soulmate, beloved Wife of 48 years, Rosaura (Yaya); loving Daughters Jeniffer (Jinny) and Jessica (Jessie); his precious Son Roberto Jr. (Junito); one of a kind Son-in-laws Amado (Tito) & Carlos (Carlo); six amazing Grandchildren Roberto (22), Myranda (21), Raul (19), Carlos Jr. (17), Jenalys (16, and Jeylene (14).
