Roberta "Bobbie"
Malloy
Sep 5, 1950 — Sep 9, 2019
Ormond Beach
Roberta (Bobbie) Malloy
Sunrise September 5, 1950 - Sunset September 9, 2019
Roberta Ann Malloy, affectionately known as Bobbie, was a loving wife, daughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin and friend. She was born on September 5, 1950 to Lynn and Lucy Pearl Miller (adopted parents) in Oakland, CA. She was raised in South San Francisco and Santa Clara, CA. In 1986, Bobbie met her soul mate and partner for life, James Clyde Malloy whom she married on March 11, 1986. Bobbie had a lengthy career as an optician. She was also exceptional with arts and crafts.
Bobbie was a happy child who was raised by a loving and giving family. But as an adopted child, she always felt like she had been unloved and unwanted by her birth mother. In later years, upon finding her birth mother and family, she discovered that not only had she been loved and searched for for many years by young mother who was forced to give her up at birth, but she also discovered that she came from a rich heritage that goes back 150 years before the birth of Christ. She was so proud and happy to know that her mother had cared for her all of those years since she was forced to give her up.
She is preceded in death by her parents, parents-in-law, sister, and brother-in-law.
She leaves to mourn her fond memories, her loving husband, James Clyde Malloy, loving four-legged "kids", Bootsie, Lucy and Zak; brother Jerry Miller (Theressa) of Paradise, CA; biological mother Irene Clark of San Diego, CA; and 5 brothers and a sister; sisters-in-law, Dianne Burchette of Jersey City, NJ, and Judy McDaniel (Randy) of Fayetteville, NC; brother-in-law Walter Malloy, Jr. (Carolyn) of Durham, NC; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
God sent us an Earth Angel, someone to brighten our days and nights with everlasting light, a bright and beaming star.
Love your Dear Friend,
Brenda Gagnon from Canada
Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. For I am the Lord you God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.
