Yates Robert C. 94 of South Daytona passed away on Tuesday March 23 2010. A Graveside service in his honor will be held Monday March 29 2010 at 2:00 pm at Daytona Memorial Park North 1425 Bellevue Avenue Daytona Beach. Bob was born in Manchester Ohio to Robert and Florence Ellis Yates. He married his loving wife of 63 years Margaret (Peggy) E. Lang of Orlando and they moved to South Daytona in 1962. Bob was a musician in his own three piece band the Bob Yates band and played in many of the local venues throughout Daytona Beach. His sweetness and gentleness will be dearly missed by his friends. Bob was preceded in death by his wife in 2006. He is survived by his cousin Delbert and his wife Dotty of Georgia and his caregiver Carol Fry of South Daytona.
