Robert "Red" Williams' Obituary
Robert "Red" Benjamin Williams, 91 of Edgewater, passed away May 24, 2013. A Memorial Service in his honor will be held Friday, June 14, 2013 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Calvary Christian Center, 1687 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach.
Red was born August 23, 1921 in Hastings FL. He served in the US Navy during WWII from 1940-1946. He retired from FPL in 1986. He was a devout Christian and influenced many people from various walks of life throughout his journey here on earth. Red will be remembered for driving parishioners to Sunday School and inspiring them through his teachings. He loved hunting fishing boating and spending time with family and friends.
In lieu of flowers please send donations to Calvary Christian Center-New Smyrna, 1687 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, FL 32174; or Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.
