Robert J. Tedeschi of Port Orange, FL passed away on October 10 at the age of 81. He was the son of the late Eileen and Armand Tedeschi of Blackstone, Massachusetts. He was the beloved husband of Melinda J. (St. Pierre ) for 59 years.
Before moving to Florida in 2002, Bob and his family resided in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. While living in RI, he was employed for 10 years by Raytheon Company and then for 26 years as a Contract Administrator for Crosby Valve and Gage Co, both located in MA.
Bob was very active in both community and civic affairs in RI. He was a Little League manager for 22 years. He also served on the Woonsocket City Council for 10 years, two of them as the president. In addition, he served as a member of the Woonsocket Board of Canvassers and the Zoning Board of Review. He was also a life member of both the Italian Workingmen's Club and the Cercle Laurier.
After retiring and moving to Florida, he joined the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Port Orange and served as Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President and 7 terms as its worthy President. He also served as secretary and treasurer of the VFW 3282 Men's Auxiliary. Additionally, he served as a director of the Crane Lakes Homeowners Association and then as its President for three years.
In addition to his loving wife, Bob is survived by his two sons and their families who meant the world to him. He was so proud of each and every one of them. Robert, Jr. and wife, Laurie, of Cranston, RI and granddaughters Brittany Tedeschi of Vermont and Kenzi Tedeschi of Massachusetts. David and wife, Krista, of Barrington, New Hampshire, granddaughter Arabella, and grandson Luca. He is also survived by step grandson, Zachary Medeiros and great granddaughter, Alixzandra Medeiros.
Bob is survived by one brother, William, of MA and one sister, Helen Chisholm, of Wakefield, MA. He is also predeceased by his brother, Armand Tedeschi, Jr. and two sisters, Mary Meunier and Estelle Richardson.
Bob was a kind man who loved his family and friends. He loved his home in Crane Lakes, the many friends he made there and in Port Orange, and his
beloved, little Yorkies. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

May the intercession of the Blessed Mary ever Virgin, and all your Saints assist this soul in attaining eternal happiness. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen
