Robert L. Sawtelle, 80, of Flagler Beach, passed away January 7, 2015. Robert will be honored with a Memorial Service Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Bulow Plantation Road House Activity Center at 11:30 am.

Robert was born January 26, 1934 in Wilton, Maine. He proudly served his country in the US Marines as a Sergeant in the Korean War. Robert worked as a Correctional Officer for the State of Connecticut for 22 years, from 1962 until 1984. He retired to Florida, where he enjoyed motorcycle riding and spending time with his family. Robert was also an avid fisherman.

Robert will be sadly missed by his family: son Stephen Sawtelle of Storrs, CT; daughter Pat Rabideau of Stafford Springs, CT; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast.
