Robert Timothy Rupp

Robert Timothy Rupp (Tim/Senior), age 79, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2021, in Daytona Beach, Florida surrounded by family. He was born on April 11, 1942, in Rittman, Ohio to James A. Rupp (Bud) and Juanita (O'Neal/Daniel) Rupp. He was a Veteran of the United States Airforce and served from 1960-1964. He was one of the first loadmasters for the C-141A Starlifter stationed in Dover, DE and Anchorage AK. Tim loved life and never met a stranger; he had an uncanny ability to touch so many lives and leave a lasting impression. Some distinct characteristics that described Tim include outgoing, friendly, funny, caring, strong willed, hardworking, and a dedicated father, son, brother, husband/fiancé, and grandfather. He was loved by so many and had so much love in his heart for everyone. Tim loved to fish, bird watch, work on home projects, and spend as much time as he could with those he loved.

Tim joins his mother, Juanita; father, James; brother, Tony; and late wife, Phyllis Jeanne (Fulkerson), in Heaven.  He is survived by his fiancée, Patricia Ann Scheffner Banker of Port Orange, Florida; his siblings, brother Tom Rupp (Patricia Moine Rupp) of Seville, Ohio and sister Tangi Rupp Dials (Olen Dials) of Willard, Ohio, his son Timothy Scott Rupp (Lori Kidd Rupp); grandchildren Lexi, Hayden and Jett Rupp of O'Fallon, Missouri.  His daughter Lisa Rupp Thomas; grandchildren Nate and Nick Thomas and Conner Filbert of Wadsworth, Ohio; his stepdaughters Sherial Musgrave (Jim Musgrave) of Fairfield, IL, Debbie Fetterolf of Fairfield, IL, and Robbie Standard of Wadsworth, Ohio; many step grandchildren, cousins, nephews, and friends.

Tim lived in many places and touched many lives.  Family and friends are invited to a Veteran Memorial Service at 1:45 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio on July 30th with a Celebration of Life to follow at Fraternal Order of Eagles in Wadsworth, Ohio.  The family will be hosting an additional Celebration of Life for Tim in Deland, Florida on September 4th.  Place and time TBD.
