Robert William Ridder, age 26, passed away Sunday, August 7th, 2016. Born August 1st, 1990 in Deland, Florida to Steve and Vicky (Taylor) Ridder.

Rob attended Seabreeze High School and is a proud graduate of the University of Florida. He was pursuing his Master's degree at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, while teaching Spanish at East Hamilton High School. He attended Calvary Christian Church in Chattanooga.

Rob's greatest joy was being surrounded by his family and friends, his parents, his brothers and sister, but he especially loved being "Uncle Bob" to his two precious nephews, Crew and Case.

He was a faithful Gator and lifetime Embry-Riddle basketball fan. Rob loved playing basketball, but even more so, he loved watching his father coach and his siblings play and coach basketball and volleyball.

Rob's love for teaching was undeniable. He had a special gift allowing him to impact the lives of many. He especially enjoyed sharing his teaching passion with his "mama".

He loved admiring the beauty of God's creation in the moon and stars, sunrises and sunsets, fresh air, being on the water, and listening to music.

Rob will forever be remembered as a kind, smart and loving son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend.

Rob is predeceased by grandparents, Norb and Joyce (Ridder) Knollman, and William Ridder. He is survived by his parents, Steve and Vicky; siblings, Ryan, Rachel (Tyler) DeBord, and Reed; nephews, Crew(2) and Case(1); grandparents, Charlie and Pat Taylor, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The Family will be receiving Friends at the Lohman Funeral Home Ormond Chapel, 733 West Granada Boulevard, Ormond Beach, on Sunday, August 14, 2016 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. A Celebration of Rob's Life will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 at Tomoka Christian Church, 1450 Hand Avenue, Ormond Beach, at 11:00 am with Pastors Joe Putting and Cord Bear as Celebrants.
