Robert A. Rippel 86 of Daytona Beach Shores passed away on February 6 2012 at Halifax Health Hospice Care Center in Port Orange. He was born on December 10 1925 in Chicago Illinois to Arthur and Inga Rippel.
A veteran of the US Army he proudly served his country during WWII. He retired as a foreman for Good Humor Ice Cream Company.
He moved to this area 30 years ago from Chicago where he was born and raised.
He loved walking the beach the stock market Hagar the comic and was an avid Cubs baseball fan.
Survivors include his cousin Marilyn Herrick of Chicago IL and many friends.
