Robert E. Rafter passed away at the age of 84 years on August 10 2010. Robert was born in Buffalo NY and moved to this area from Tona-wanda NY on November 1 1987. The family will receive guest at 10:00 am followed by a Memorial Service that will be held Friday August 13 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Lohman Funeral Home - Daytona 1423 Bellevue Ave Daytona Beach FL 32114. Those who are left to cherish his memory are one son William Rafter Fianc Rhonda Evans of Port Orange FL.; one daughter Jeannie Peck husband Roy of Flint MI.; and one brother Bill Rafter wife Joyce of Sanborn N.Y.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren many nep-hews and nieces. Mr. Rafter was a World War II veteran and a member of the American Legion. Robert enjoyed leisure time with auto racing motorcycle racing and hotrods he was an avid flat track motorcycle racer at Hyde Park Stadium in Western NY; as well as he enjoyed fishing and antique cars. He loved all of his friends and family very dearly. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by one son Keith Rafter and a dear friend Nina Richardson.
