Robert E. Meyers age 70 of Palm Coast passed away Saturday June 30 2007 in Jacksonville Fl.. Robert was born on March 3 1937 in Philadelphia Pa. and moved to this area in 1989 from Maryland. Being a retired Police Officer from Prince Georges County Md. Robert was a life member of the Marine Corps League Fraternal Order of Police Investigator for th U.S. Government Past Commodore of the Anchor Boat Club held a private pilots license and was an honorary member of the Italian American Club. He enjoyed boating travel gun club cruise ships Las Vegas the Washington Redskins and his beloved Family and Friends.
His survivors include; his beloved wife Del sons: Robert O. Meyers of Myrtle Beach S.C. and Willie Meyers of Atlanta Ga. Daughters; Kelly Mayhue and Lois Smith both of Virginia Stepsons; Steven Jones of Maine and David Foster of Maryland Stepdaughter ; Karen Jones of Maryland siblings; Joan Fagan of Philadelphia Pa. Willie Meyers of Ft. Lauderdale Fl. Marie Kennedy of Royersford Pa.. Rick Meyers of Hillsborough Beach Fl. and James Ward Judith Flaherty Lawrence Ward and Sandra Ward all of Philadelphia Pa. 13 grandchildren and his beloved dog Laddie.
Visitation will be held Saturday July 7 2007 from 2-4 pm at the Lohman Palm Coast Funeral Home with the funeral Sunday July 8 2007 at the St Marks by the Sea Lutheran Church at 4 pm with Pastor Tom Bingol Officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to the Good Samaritan Fund of Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville Fl.
