Robert J. Mead Sr. formerly of Wilmington DE. Is predeceased by his late wife Lois B. Mead of 55 years. He has 4 children Robert J. Mead Jr. of Asheboro N.C. Richard B. Mead of Severna Park MD. Charles L. Mead of Iowa City IA And his daughter Linda M. Erickson of Daytona Beach FL. with whom he was living with for the past 5 years. He also had 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday January 26 2005 at the Tomoka United Methodist Church in Ormond Beach. He and his wife sang in the church choir for over 50 years as well as taught Sunday school equally as long. He was a retiree of 40 years from the DuPont Company.
His hobbies included woodworking volunteering his time in the machine shop at the Hagley Museum in Wilmington and singing with the Barbershop Chorus of the Brandywine.
